Matthew Logan is a New York photographer and cellist.
Matthew Logan works between photography and music, shooting travel and landscape series (Paris, the Adirondacks) alongside a body of work marked War and Peace, and composing and playing cello outside of the camera work entirely. Logan was part of Island Boundaries, a group show at Residency Unlimited. The two practices don't often get named in the same bio, camera and cello, but here they read as the same instinct pointed in different directions: pay close attention, then make something out of it.
Fun Stuff is a free weekly newsletter about what's worth showing up for in Williamsburg and the surrounding creative neighborhoods.
