Black House Radio conjures house music as homecoming. Founded in 2023 by Michael Donte, the platform stages Black DJs in live events and curated mixes that honor the genre's spiritual roots. Their work cuts against the historical erasure of Black artistry in electronic music: each event—whether a sold-out night at 99 Scott Avenue or the immersive installation We Set the Table at UCLA's Made in L.A. 2025—insists that house music belongs to the people who made it.
