Car Part Time is a collectible car venue in Williamsburg. Located at 904 Grand Street in a redesigned warehouse, it displays six rotating vehicles alongside a bar, vinyl records, and salvaged mid-century lighting.
Collectible cars parked among walnut furniture, vinyl records, and mustard linen curtains. Car Part Time, at 904 Grand Street in East Williamsburg, is asking what a car showroom looks like when it stops pretending to be a showroom. Opened in 2025 inside a former warehouse redesigned by Office of Tangible Space, the 2,000-square-foot concrete shell holds six rotating vehicles available through licensed dealers, a central bar, a glass-enclosed office, and a listening station stocked by Freakout Spot. Edward Durell Stone pendant lights salvaged from the SUNY Albany campus hang above each parking position. The programming (listening sessions, cars-and-coffee mornings, cultural events) suggests the real proposition: that automotive culture, music, and design belong in the same room, and that the garage has always been a clubhouse.
