TADDEO is a DJ and music curator whose sets often build around a single artist's full catalog rather than a straight mix of songs.
TADDEO performs as Sound Voyager, a music curator who calls themself a jazz head. They're a resident selector at Silence Please, the hi-fi listening room and tea house on the Bowery built around a custom sound system and focused listening rather than conversation. Their sets move between Frankfurt, Philadelphia, and New York. At Car Part Time's Field Notes 02, they guided the room through Miles Davis's different eras using archival footage alongside the listening session, treating a discography as a story told across decades rather than a set of songs.
Fun Stuff covers what's worth showing up for in Williamsburg every week, including artists like TADDEO. Free.
