Eamon Harkin

Eamon Harkin is a DJ and music promoter based in Brooklyn, NY. He co-founded Mister Saturday Night and Mister Sunday, influential parties that evolved into Nowadays, a Ridgewood nightclub he operates with partner Justin Carter.

Born in Derry, Northern Ireland, Eamon Harkin arrived in New York and spent the next two decades building something rarer than a good DJ set: a sustained argument that music is infrastructure for community. With his partner Justin Carter, he co-founded Mister Saturday Night (2009) and Mister Sunday: parties that began in backyards and improvised spaces and eventually anchored themselves at Nowadays, the Ridgewood club the two also co-own and operate. His DJ sets weave together the EBM, industrial, and new wave that shaped him growing up in Derry with New York house and Detroit techno, all governed less by genre than by what he calls the emotional temperature of a room. His 2026 album The Place Where We Live: named for a D.W. Winnicott concept about the psychic space where art makes meaning: turns that same attentiveness inward. The question Harkin keeps asking, across the booth, the label, the venue, and the record: what does it actually take to make strangers feel less alone?

Never miss a Eamon Harkin performance.
