Lambkin

Lambkin is a musician and composer in Brooklyn, NY. She creates electronic music that blends R&B and soul traditions with synthesizer, vocals, and effects pedals, exploring Black sonic forms at the intersection of ancestral and digital sound.

Lambkin works with vocals, Ableton Push, synthesizer, and FX pedal to share new material as a Brooklyn-based musician and composer. She fuses R&B and soul aural traditions with experiments in electronic music to explore new Black sonic forms. The work is rooted in a search for sonic possibility at the intersection of ancestral and digital, treating the studio as a site where voice, rhythm, and electronic texture can converse. Her recent performances include a collaboration with Kambaba Jasper and a Roulette-commissioned work that brings this exploration to the stage. The performance was commissioned by Roulette through its GENERATE program, providing over 20 artists each year with in-depth creative and technical support.
