HAAi

HAAi is the DJ and producer project of Teneil Throssell, a London-based Australian artist known for eclectic, emotionally direct sets spanning electronic music and psychedelia.

Teneil Throssell grew up in Karratha, a remote mining town in Western Australia, played guitar in psychedelic rock bands, then moved to London and taught herself electronic production on a borrowed Mac running Logic. Something clicked. Under the name HAAi, she built a two-year Saturday night residency at Brixton's Phonox into a practice defined by BPM left-turns, tempo-shifting drama, and the conviction that dance music has psychedelic qualities worth excavating. Her 2025 album HUMANiSE (made with Jon Hopkins, the Trans Voices choir, and poet James Massiah) pushed her vocals to the front for the first time, wrestling with what it means to feel human as AI reshapes everything. She also runs UNiSON, a London party brand with a room dedicated to artists found through her open Submit to Play platform. The through-line, across DJ sets and records alike: music as a space where togetherness is not just a feeling but something you design.

Never miss a HAAi performance.
